Stronger Kent Communities to close at end of September 2026
The Directors of Stronger Kent Communities are sorry to announce that the CIC will close at the end of September this year.
For nine years, Stronger Kent Communities has supported thousands of small charities and social enterprises across the county. We have enjoyed a fruitful partnership with other local infrastructure organisations and are grateful to the many organisations who have helped to fund our work, including Kent County Council, Kent Community Foundation and the National Lottery..
Sadly we have not been able to secure funding for our future operations, and will be winding services down as follows:
- Our Help Desk will close to new enquiries on Friday, 31 July. If you have a support need before this date, please contact us via our website strongerkentcommunities.org.uk or emailing contact@strongerkentcommunities.org.uk.
- We will be collating resources and learning to share with the sector before the end of September. We will provide more information on this in the coming months.
We would like to thank all those organisations who have attended our conferences and workshops, accessed our help desk, or otherwise engaged with Stronger Kent Communities since 2017.
We would like to end this statement by applauding all the charities and social enterprises in the county, that do so much every day to support those communities and individuals in need.
