Create an online catalogue – Leas Pavilion Archive

Posted: 18 November 2020

Create an online catalogue - Leas Pavilion Archive

Details: create an online catalogue entry and performance listing for each of the PDFs; this involves completing the fields in the catalogue and performance template, many of which of which are drop-down menus or clickable.

Organisation: Leas Pavilion Archive

The unique Grade II listed Leas Pavilion (Club) on Folkestone’s iconic Leas promenade has fallen into disrepair. The Friends of the Leas Pavilion are promoting a campaign to restore the building as a heritage asset but, while these plans are under development, a permanent community archive was launched in April 2019 to preserve and share the history of the Pavilion and Club and make it available to all.

Skills needed:

accuracy in data entry using information gleaned from the PDF file, the sort of information entered can be seen on the page for the example programme: https://www.leaspavilionarchive.org.uk/catalogue_item/programme-for-boeing-boeing

Estimated time to complete/deadline:

Probably a commitment across a week, but including the communication and set up, with two half days of actual work.
