It includes steps to a safer organisation : understanding the steps to doing safeguarding well.

For organisations whose main work is with children or with adults at risk, NCVO recommends:

  • For organisations whose main work is with 0-18 year olds we recommend you work through these safeguarding standards and this checklist (from NSPCC Learning).
  • For organisations whose main work is with adults at risk we recommend this checklist and guides (from the Ann Craft Trust).

The Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board (KMSAB) is a statutory service which exists to make sure that all member agencies are working together to help keep Kent and Medway’s adults safe from harm and protect their rights.
