Fundraising and Finance

Find COVID-19 Emergency Funds and other funding on our fundraising page

Finding Potential Funders

  • Kent Community Foundation spreadsheet list of funders (compiled April 2020) or invaluable list of available funds
  • Sign up to Kent Community Foundation newsletter to get regular alerts about their funds
  • Sign up to Inside Track, this is Kent County Council’s (KCC) funding newsletter and it tells you about funding opportunities relevant to Kent
  • KCC also have free funder finder software on their website; which is accessible to you if you are a charitable group operating in Kent
  • You can look at the annual accounts or websites of similar organisations, because they often list funders. Annual accounts of charities are available on the Charity Commission website

In-depth funding research

All of the above should be a good starting point, but if you want to do some in depth funding research you can purchase the Directory of Grantmaking Trusts; which is published every year or subscribe to an online funder finder service, such as Funds Online or Funding Central which is free for organisations with an income of less than £100k
