We are delighted to announce that Stronger Kent Communities has been awarded a three year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. From autumn of 2022, we will be able to offer a suite of support services designed specifically for voluntary sector organisations in Kent and Medway.
Building on the programme of support SKC has delivered across the voluntary sector since its inception in 2017, this funding provides a clear signal that SKC is a respected provider, which is recognised for its ability to respond to the challenges the sector is now facing.
Activities we plan to offer include a help desk support service, training, coaching and some local events to help the sector reconnect after a tough two years. We want to involve Kent’s voluntary sector in our planning and over the next few months we will continue to keep you informed of our plans and how you can get involved via our newsletter and social media pages.
